Very nice Salacca Leo.

These are also the fastest growing palms introduced here lately. My wallichianas are still small seedlings but the Salacca zalaccas are really taking off now. Do the wallichianas produce edible fruit too?

After you get a Chamb. mac. you can then start  collecting all the Calyptrocalyx species that have a new red leaf. :) It's easy to get hooked.

Gileno, I`ve only heard they aren`t as tasty as S. zalacca varieties. This S. wallichiana plants comes from seeds Alan Tampa gave me away a year(s) ago. Hope yours bear fruit soon. Don`t know if them all are dioecious or some are one way or another.

Jeff, thanks for the recommendation on that genus. Now need more land to plant all those!.
