I didn't know Wal is a songwriter...

About the "shyster" word: aehm  I had to look that up in a dictionary. Why in the whole world could you come up with that term????

Sorry, couldn't vote :mrlooney:

I voted NO as I've seen Wal in action singing to his palms.

As for palms, I got a well grown Attalea cohune off him today.

Gold Coast, Queensland Latitude 28S. Mild, Humid Subtropical climate. Rainfall - not consistent enough!

Look, sure I sold a few misnamed palms in the past but that's just where it is, in the past. I know that I should know the difference between a Phoenix and an Archontophoenix and a Cyphophoenix and that the seeds turned out wrong, you try sorting out all these bloody things, there's over 2000 palms you know, so don't blame me for the wrong IDs, struth, I'm providing the product, you work out what it is, I'm too busy with all this paper work and......"what? what was that love ?....another seed has shot ?.........ah, just put it with those other ones, I don't have any more tags, use the lipstick palm ones, there's plenty of those in the corner, none of those seeds popped open."

Wal....

the red palm you sold me that looks like a tube of lipstick now looks like rotting pumpkin. I dutifully followed the instructions you sent with the plant:

1. dig hole

2. stick in ground

yet the plant has died. what is your refund policy?

Hi Guys,

After getting some half dead Palms from Wal, he promised to replace them, well

that never happened but In replacement Wal promised that he would at least give me

some "fresh" Road Kill. That arrived but Freshly Frozing from 6 months ago Doesn't count Wal

and to date I'm still waiting for that to even be replaced.........:lol::P

post-641-1228270331_thumb.jpgpost-641-1228270372_thumb.jpgGreat seller, highly reccomend. I couldnt be happier with my lodicia maldivica (double coconut) that I recieved from Wal. As you can see it is an oversized 1 gallon that looks well grown. For the $900 he charged I could not even buy an ungerminated seed.

Wal sold me some deformed siamese twin Coconut seed that looked like a woman's rear end bending over in the garden. What a waste of my $10. I tossed it in the trash and wrote it off to wisdom learned.

I liked his video :yay:

Thanks pal, it took a while to make, I appreciate your kudos. You probably didn't realise but that actually is a real crocodile I step over as I sing my theme song with the MattyB soldier poster in the background. The next release should be in stereo too.

I'll get back to everyone who feels they have been gyped, I have to rest now.

You might see them as half dead, I see them as half alive, that's 50% Mikey, can't get much fairer than that, sorry about the roadkill though, I couldn't help myself with the fresh one I had, and I was hungry and so was my neighbour who's doing it tough, so we ate it , I did think of you, that must count for something.

I bought several Washingtonia filiferas from Wal for a landscaping job here in San Diego, CA USA. He shipped the one gallon palms in a timely mannor but now 43 years later they are exibiting signs of fusarium wilt, a problem I attribut to Wal's poor growing practices. Why would you ship me such an infected palm? I would warn anyone considering purchasing a palm from Wal to beware! When he sings his eyes are dreamy too, and he made me think naughty thoughts.
