Calyptrocalyx stenoschista

To the tune of "Then I kissed her" by the Beach Boys

We all know Calypso is a palm

it's also a dance

It looks awful nice, what's it's name ?

So Sol took a chance

He didnt know just what to do

And so he whispered I'll get you

And he hoped that his guess would fool the blue

"stenoschista"

Happy Gardening

Cheers,

Wal

I was trying to drive you insane Col, I've known what it is all along. I've got so many of them I'm pulling them out like weeds, damn speed merchant C. timenum palms, I wish I 'd never planted them in the first place.

Happy Gardening

Colin,

If there is small black specks on the petioles, ( which I can't tell from the pic.) my guess would be Masoala madagascariensis. :)
