Anthurium ornatum or "oaxaca"??

MAYAFLOR

Recommended Posts

Hello to all.

Somebody  can help me  to clarify a doubt, respect  the identification of an anthurium, this anthurium that I know like oaxqueño,  I create is the anthurium ornatum, but could not have been able a good photo to make a comparison.

I have seen in Internet and this variety  deals  hibrid of ferriense anthurium  x   a.  andreanum, but I do not create it,  for my is a pure species, in fact I have obtained 5 genotypes with clear differences, I even have the form "obake".

I  makes cross  with this anturium", and hibrids are very beautiful, good looking I to these genetics lines to reinforce and to create resistant varieties, because this anthurium is extremely resistant, necessary for the climate where I live, because temperatures   are near 45º c .

Please if somebody knows to that species belongs or is hibrid,  this doubt troubles to me. thanks and greetings

I do not create it, the structure is diferent, and grows very high. probably is a native species of anthurio of the oaxaca state, mexico, that began  to cultivate itself as flower of cut during 60´s but does not know if it were introduced or it is a species whose locality dezconoce. associate a photo of Internet, a producer in Florida, to see the structure of the plant.

greetings.
