Our next meeting of the PSSC will begin at 11AM Saturday, 20th of May, 2017 at the garden of Gregg and Debbie Hamann. Their home is located in El Cajon, CA - about ten miles east of San Diego off Freeway 8. As a group over the last few decades we have seen this garden twice before. It was begun about thirty years ago and offers an amazing selection of rare palms, cycads and tropical plants. Pathways meander down a southern exposure slope with exciting plants at every turn. The meeting will be held at the property of Othon and Teresa Bueno which is located just outside the town of Quepos in the coastal foothills of the mountains. At Edith Bergstroms place from 1-4 pm. We are delighted to have an invitation to visit one of the most beautiful gardens in the area. The garden is large and diverse, including several microclimate niches from desert to tropical. Of course there is a spectacular collection of mature and exotic palm specimens to enhance your botanical experience. There will be a potluck and auction. More information to be posted soon.
