20 each free to first 4 takers. Already committed 20 or so to member in Croatia. So, if you research Black Sphinx, it is either a mutant or a sport, so who knows what you'll get from the seed, if anything. My poor seed skills are known the planet over. Anyway, first 4 to speak up on this thread will get them for free. If you are not satisfied, I will refund your money.

Brachychiton rupestris?
by Patrick- 1 reply
Anyone interested in a Brachychiton rupestris or two? Ive grown two of these up for several years and I just don't have room for a specimen tree such as these. They're currently in 15 gallon cans and about 10 feet tall overall including the cans. They've been in the 15 gallon cans for probably 3 or 4 years. This would have to be a local pickup only in CA bay area zip code 94561. I'll post up pictures once I get home today (I'm at work now). I first fell in love with these when I saw one at The Bancroft Garden in Walnut Creek. A company in Richmond had these for sale so I bought a couple. They are tolerant trees, I have never treated these special other than occasiona…

Canna jaegeriana

The good news; I collected a high elevation form of this Canna in Ecuador in 1996. It grows very well here in San Francisco, a cool, humid USDA zone 10A. The stems are about 9 feet high, the foliage is reminiscent of Heliconia, hummingbirds are crazy for the flowers, it grows all 12 months of the year, every stem makes good seeds. The seeds are viable for a long time. I have a large crop of seeds. The bad news; The foliage is damaged by wind, similar to banana. The seeds are difficult to germinate, with a low percentage of success. I tried scarification but that just seemed to increase rotting. If you have a good technique share it with me! More good news; …

Subtropical feather leaved palm with a trunk identical in looks to a foxtail. I've found these to be slightly hardier than Royal palms, growing under Arizona's desert conditions. I'm starting a new batch now, but there are plenty of seeds available for others willing to experience the fun of growing your own palms from seed... Local pickup. aztropic Mesa,Arizona

Carpoxylon Seeds

I have a few seeds that I probably won’t use. I would like to trade for Dypsis Lastelliana seeds. Maybe others. Cyrtostachys Renda would be nice. If I can’t get a trade, I could send the seeds for no charge. But they are large and I don’t want to eat the shipping cost. I’m guessing $10 would cover it. And I don’t do PayPal so you would have to send me cash or check.

My Caryota mitis have dropped 200,000+ seeds and are still at it. Now have seedlings germinating also. Anyone in the area that can pick up and wants these is welcome to them for free. If not in the area I'll ship them but not for free. See my related post in for sale section for that. These trees are extremely prolific at seeding!
