Looking for some small palms
by Justin- 1 reply

I'm trying to fill out my garden with some "bulletproof" SoCal stuff, inlcuding Burretiokentias, Dypsis, Parajubaeas, Chambeyronias, maybe some Foxy Ladys. Because I'm lazy and don't feel like digging too much, I'm looking for 5g or less, but I suppose I'm not totally opposed to 15g. Let me know if you have some or all of these - I'd like to come out in the next week or two. Justin

Looking for speciman Sabal Palmetto(8 ft Plus in height)
by sabalstate- 4 replies
- 1.4k views
Looking for a Sabal Palmetto tree that is at least 7-8 ft or more in height. I live in Cathedral City, California in the Mojave Desert and am interested in any contacts within California where I might find this species...not interested in the seeds or a 3 gallon palm as I know how slow these do grow and have a need for a large speciman palm....really interested only in Sabal Palmetto...but if this proves impossible to find....a large one in California...then I might consider Sabal Bermudana or Sabal Texana/Mexicana as alternatives...of same size.

Looking for TRACHYCARPUS TAKIL

Trying to encourage a lapsed PSSC member to rejoin - apparently, a lot of folks joined initially to trade plants and get things they couldn't through ordinary channels. It seems we've drifted from the concept of 'society' and devote an inordinate amount of effort publishing a slick magazine, trying to glean some web traffic, or putting together our yearly bash - worthy causes, incidentally; however, the society survives on its membership, and if we don't/can't/won't reach out to oldtimers & newcomers and grow, we're doomed. So, anybody have any T.t. they might be willing to sell or trade? I have a monster Jubaeopsis caffra (yellow petiole) I might be willing to barter…

Looking for Tropical Conifers
by hydrophyte- 3 replies

Hi folks, I am looking around for various tropical or warm temperate conifers such as Araucaria, Agathis, Cunninghamia and others. I am writing from Zone 5 and I have a special interest in growing these plants indoors. Please don't mock or belittle me. I have a couple of these plants going like this and with the right care some of them can grow very well and look nice with plenty of interest as houseplants. I am mainly after seedlings, liners or 1-gallon plants. I have various things that might appeal to you as trades. Thanks for reading.

I have about a dozen non- trunking radicalis, and bought one which sold to me as a trunking radicalis and ended up being a non-trunking form. I'm looking for trunking radicalis seedlings but also willing to try seed.
