Voanioala gerardii seeds

I've just noticed these are now being offered by RPS, but unfortunately they are EU-only for some unknown reason. This species is CITES appendix II, not appendix I, so there is no legal impediment to sending the seeds internationally. I'd really like to get hold of a few of these seeds if there are now some fresh ones on the market. On the off-chance that anyone in the EU wanted to buy say 5 of these from RPS but didn't want to spend 200EUR on 10, please message me and I'll happily split the cost with you. Likewise if anyone has any to sell from wherever RPS got theirs from. Many thanks.

Arenga engleri and Bismarckia in Tampa Bay Area
by cobra2326- 3 replies
Does anyone know where I can find Arenga engleri in the Tampa Bay Area. Looking for decent size plants, but most people I call have no idea what it is, even if I say "dwarf sugar palm". Also looking for a place to get a large Bismarckia for a decent price. I'd rather not go to Home Depot unless that's the only option.

Seeking owners of Encephalartos senticosus

I have one specimen that have just starten coning for the first time. Only intuitively I tend to predict that cone will be female, but it remains to be seen. So I should attempt to establish connection with growers of this Cuycad all over the world (without specimens of bith genders), in order to plan timely a cross of our specimens, when gender of mine becomes visible. Ie I could collect pollen and send it over or store it in the freezer and in reverse case the other grower could the same for me.

Read an excellent thread on work being done in Greece. Am thinking this cross has potential to be a significant leap forwards towards a hardier, more manageable Phoenix appropriate for smaller spaces. Any news on availability? Thank you.

As title states, looking for a Ravenea julietiae. Perfect world prerequisites below. Thanks. -Southern California area -I don’t think shipping would be possible but open to it if small -3 to 5G size is ideal but no bigger unless cost is right. Anyone know where I can purchase a Cook Pine (Araucaria Columnaris) from New Caledonia? I need to make sure it's NOT Norfolk Pine (Araucaria Heterophylla) aka Star Pine. There is a guy in Texas that has 6 inch for sale but I'm getting to old to watch a 6 inch plant grow. Thanks Mike
