My tree guy is here today. He doesn’t think we will have anymore cold days in the area so we are going to trim the broken fronds and leave the brown ones until April. His are smelling. Ours are NOT. Good sign, I think. Thoughts? Trying to submit photos be even one says over 8mb limit.

Hello my friend. Is this the weather station for Gandia Spain?  https://www.accuweather.com/en/es/gandia/306359/february-weather/306359
Would love to visit Valencia & Palma de Mallorca. Spain founded California; a natural Latino affinity.

Hey Rafael, how is it going?
Any new updates on your garden? This February has been under average in much of Iberia, any major issue in your place?
      Regards!

    • Bullhead

I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of this forum. We recently moved to Bullhead City, AZ and excited to be located in an area where palms grow. I've always loved palms and plan to make this a hobby. I've even started seed germination.  We built a new home and purchased 12 palms from a local nursery; 6 pineapples, 5 Meditteranean, and 1 pigmy. One of the Mediterranean is a beautiful single with about a 5' trunk. This palm is showing some kind of stress. I have spoken with several locals and have received as many different answers as questions I've asked. I'm hoping someone can help me identify the issue.  I am attaching a picture of an older fan. Newer growth is not showing these signs ... yet. I've sent a soil sample to a lab to see if there is a nutrient imbalance. Thank you for reading this. I look forward to any help I can get.  And, I do apologize for my lack of correct terminology.  I'm a newbie.
