Looking for obscure Rhapis and Chamaedorea species
by Mandrew968- 10 replies
- 1.4k views
I doubt there are many obscure Rhapis around(I have subtilis, robusta, humilis, laoensis, multifida and super dwarf) but I am sure there are a few locals that may have some interesting Chamaedoreas they may want to sell or trade. I have only about 15 or so species(tepejilote, geonomiformis, adscendens, ernesti-agustii, deckeriana, brachypoda, neuroclamys, fragrans, metallica, radicalis, glaucifolia, benziei, hooperiana, woodsoniana, pinnatifrons, oblongata and some of the common ones) of Chamaedoreas so please let me know what you might have, if you are willing to part with it... Thanks in advance!

Coccothrinax Azul - in CA, South FL or shippable
by Hilo Jason- 10 replies
- 1.7k views
I'm looking for a Coccothrinax Azul to add to my collection. I will be in South Florida in a couple of weeks, so if anyone here on the board from there has some or knows of some, please let me know. 3 gallon size would be preferred since I'll be travelling and can't bring anything large home. I've checked most of the southern california nurseries for these, but if anyone knows of any, please let me know. Finally, if anyone has a 3 gallon size and is willing to ship, that would work as well. Thanks!

Hello everyone! I apologize in advance, I am writing via google translate. There was a desire to start cultivating or even popularizing palm trees in my region (Krasnodar, Russia). The palm tree for our people is an alien plant, so few people try to grow them, there is even no need to talk about selection and hybrids. That is why I am writing here, since I cannot find suitable varieties in my region. But it seems to me that our climate is quite suitable for these plants. Summers are predominantly dry, 95-105 degrees, winters average 25 degrees, bu…
