You must be designated as an IPS Member to list items (start topics) in this forum. You need to request this designation if you are a member. It is not automatic. Contact the Moderator.
IPS Members may not list items for trade from non-member third parties. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.
Palms offered for trade may include a suggested value and/or desired exchange. Photos are encouraged. Listings will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.
The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms.

Looking to barter for landscape projects

Our yard has five sago palms that are between 3 and 6 feet tall, the largest being three trunks at the base. Here is a link to some pictures: http://imgur.com/a/3pKTu We are trying to get rid of them in exchange for 1. the cost of removing them 2. other landscaping (if possible) As of right now we don't know where to begin, I've heard of businesses doing this but through all my googling I can't find anyone in my area (south east of Los Angeles). I have just got back from a collecting trip to Vietnam. I have Lanonia hexasepala, calciphila and maglonii seeds available. The haxasepala may be immature. Also Pinanga declinata and Caryota monostachya. I am interested in understorey palms and am interested in swapping for fresh seed of same or plants if aussie.
