Coccothrinax clarensis Palmate Seedlings for Sale

I have four palmate Coccothrinax clarensis in 14" tall pots that need to go in the ground. I germinated them ca. 2015 from seeds I bought after my trip to Cuba. These four palms are 6+ years old and some of the slowest growing palms I've ever grown. Perhaps they may speed up after going into the ground but I've done much of the work getting them to plantable size. I have never seen any C. clarensis of any size growing outside Cuba. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coccothrinax_clarensis Coccothrinax clarensis in 14" treepots: $35.00 each Shipping = $15.00 East of the Rocky Mtns, $18.00 to the West Coast via Priority Mail (shipping cost to the West Coast is kil…

Coccothrinax cupularis 3 yrs old For Sale
by PalmatierMeg- 3 replies
I have been unable to find much info about this Coccothrinax from southern Cuba. Palmpedia says very little but lists it as a species. Another source I consulted indicated it might be a ssp of C. miraguama but says little else. I found the following info on PalmTalk: https://www.palmtalk.org/forum/index.php?/topic/40614-coccothrinax-cupularis/ No matter, it's a great palm and uncommon in gardens. I planted my mother palm on my Garden Lot around 2012. It has been one of the fastest growing Coccothrinax I have despite receiving no supplemental irrigation. I estimate it is around 10' tall now. I germinated the plants for sale from her seeds and they are ~3 years ol…

Veitchia Unk Species 1g Seedlings for Sale
by PalmatierMeg- 5 replies
In 2019 I received seeds from Australia of what I was told was an unknown Ptchosperma. They germinated well and grew well and I now have 4 of them that need new homes. Consensus on PalmTalk this past week is that these beautiful palms are an unknown Veitchia. Veitchia is a woefully overlooked genus tall solitary palms. Seedlings are tough and fast growing. Their only weakness is cold sensitivity but they are well worth growing. I am selling these seedling in a lot of 4 palms at $5.00 each + shipping https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veitchia Veitchia Unknown Seedlings: $20.00 for Lot of 4 Shipping = $15.00 via Priority Mail. Adonidia merrillii Seedlings
by PalmatierMeg- 0 replies
I have Adonidia merrillii - Christmas palm - coming up in the yard. I missed cutting down inflorescences last year and my 5 Adonidia dumped seeds all over the place. Now I have Adonidia seedlings popping up. Next to the coconut this is probably the most desired palm outside of FL. Why bother with seeds when you can jump directly to seedlings? If you've ever wanted to try this tropical cutie, now is your chance. Load up so you have lots of spares to share. They grow like weeds here and if these guys don't find loving homes, they hit the compost pile. See info on Palmpedia: https://www.palmpedia.net/wiki/Adonidia_merrillii Adonidia merrillii seedlings: $1.00 each …

I have 13+ year-old OP seedlings from my female Heavy Yellow Zamia variegata. They germinated from last year's crop of seeds. Like I've said before, collecting and growing all these seeds all fun and games until they get larger and you run out of room and/or the weeds start to take over the pots. I have the following available (see pictures below): 7gal Sabal palmetto 'Lisa' - $75ea...15 available 3gal Sabal palmetto 'Lisa' - $60ea...8 available (these should've been potted up last season, but I ran out of 'high hole' pots..plants are slightly smaller than the 7gal) 7gal Chambeyronia - $45ea...30+ available (mostly hookeri, some macrocarpa) 3gal Serenoa repens ‘Cinerea’ - $10ea...30 a…
