Big 15 gallon Rhapis “Alicia” in La Habra
by DoomsDave- 1 reply
Howdy everyone! One of the PSSC’s members is “downsizing“ and he donated some palms to the society for us to sell. Dr. Leaky the Lexus provides scale; it's about 6 feet (2 M) tall planted. This plant wants OUT of that pot and either in the ground or in a big tub or in the ground. "Alicia" is a hybrid between R. laosensis and humilis that originated in the garden of the late Louis and Carol Hooper. This is a great palm which can be used as a screen, or a big pot plant. Asking $300 or best offer. Send me PM (private message) for queries.

Was never planning on selling this, but thinking about it, it will live its whole life in a pot at my house. There’s someone who wants one and can’t find it, and can plant it in their garden where it belongs. When I got it, it had 3 leaves, now it has 12 and working on its 13th. It’s in a 5 gallon deep pot and it’s definitely pot bound. Have to have $120 plus shipping to sell it. Will ship in its pot. PM me if interested

San Diego Cycad Collection (34 Plants)
by SanDiegoCycadCollection- 1 follower

I purchased a home in San Diego and the prior owner was a collector of various types of Cycads (34 in total). We have decided to re-landscape the property and these Cycads are not a part of the proposed design (but are incredible plants). I am looking to sell these plants - no specific price in mind, best offer buys the plant. Willing to sell individually or in a group. Please note that plants must be removed from property by buyer (including removal from ground for the plants in the ground). Not looking to make a fortune off of these plants, just trying to find the right home. The PDF attached contains current photos of each plant. Happy to …

Jubaea X Butia
by Phil- 2 followers
- 4.3k views
We are presently offering a limited number of good sized Jubaea X Butia, F2 hybrids. I particularly like this hybrid because it gives the grower a thick trunked, fairly rapid growing and cold hardy palm where cold is an issue. Everyone knows how slow Jubaeas are. These are much faster and yet get a trunk that reminds one of a Jubaea (except for the retained leaf bases). I have had reports of these hybrids tolerating as low as 13 degrees from the last batch I had several years ago. Some customers think they might even be more cold hardy than pure Butia capitata. They are in tree pot size. The bases are about 3 inches and the plant height is approximately 2.5 feet.…

Sabal minor seedlings for sale

I grew all these from seed bought from Rare Palm Seeds. I sowed all the seeds in an outdoor bed June 2022, they lived their first year in that bed including last winter that went down to -4f and a week below freezing. Not that these are something special as far as a minor goes, just that these are ready to plant right now no problem. They were potted up last spring, summer, fall. You can see the time stamp on my phone, that was right after they started to break the surface of the soil in that bed. There’s variation in size, I will only sell all the biggest and best. I’ll take group pics and let anyone buying pick your own. These were grown hard and have not been fertilized…
