Hey Don, what palms are you growing and how do you think they will handle last night’s freeze?  How low did it get?  I saw 21 at Gulf Shores on Wunderground.

Hard times indeed. Down to 12 last nite in Dallas and we have lots of filifera, sabal, pindo and windmill. I think everything will be ok except wondering about the filiferas. Mine survived 100 hours below freezing in 2011, which included 2 nights at 14. Hope they pull through again.  Our robustas were wiped out in 2011 and CIDP never has been reliable here.

Good evening, I am in Plano (Dallas). What palms are growing in Mansfield? I am wondering if mine will survive the winter we’ve had so far. Do you know anyone on nrthern gulf coast, AL, MS?  Brutal cold there last night.
